+1,,,,you aren't going to beat a Ronson Butane Lighter for the money and how long they last. Best invention since the wheel.

Re: Torch > BIC

to those using a zippo...

why? a zippo uses liquid fuel that has a very distinct small and taste. this has a tendency to flavor your cigar like lighter fluid.

...unless you like the taste of lighter fluid.

ive been told that if you let it burn for a moment the taste and smell go away, but i have had several zippos in my life and i have never experienced this.

Re: Torch > BIC

I've enjoyed my Blazer so far. I didn't know about the Ronson until after I'd bought the Blazer or I would have gone that route. Can't find them at my local Hellmart anyway. If the Blazer craps out I'm going to buy a Ronson online.

Re: Torch > BIC

Some of those older posts left me scratching my head.

Not trying to be condecending or anything, & I guess fire is fire to an extent, but... c'mon...

I don't know about those automobiles... They get you there 10X faster, & are more comfy, but I'll stick to my good ol' Horse & buggy. Nonna that fancy stuff fer me!

To each his own I guess.

It's all relative,,some like dressy lighters,,some just like good old fashioned lighters and some don't give a $hit where the fire comes from. As long as it will light my stick and not spoil the flavor of the tobacco,,,Id use a flare.
