Review: Tiger lighter (TJO23)

I received this lighter as part of my Secret Santa package. To be honest, I was not a big fan of the futuristic design of the lighter - but since it was a gift, I gave it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did. This lighter is great. Easy to trigger the light and produces a great flame on the first try. No double clicks. Easy operation to raise and lower the flame, a simple knob on the bottom - hand operated (no funky screw hole). This lighter doesn't seem to burn through fuel either - use it all the time and have only filled it a couple of times since xmas. Filling works great with Vector fuel, no spilling. Has worked great in the wind and cold weather of winter. If you can find one, I highly recommend this lighter.

I was going to say something , but I didn't want to start an 'International Incident'... JK I've heard very good things about the tigers. I use a z-plus myself. Now I feel the love again!! How's the skiing this year?

Thanks for the recommendation! I've seen them priced very cheap, but had never heard of anyone who actually owned one.

I have a couple older Tiger models with the flip cap, and they sure work great. I think they were in the $12-$15 range each. I keep them in the truck mostly, and they carry a lot of fuel.
I will pick up a newer one like the pic above when I find 'em in the B&M... always good to have some spares.

I have a Tiger lighter, not sure which model number. You press it down and dual flames pop out, wind resistant, works great. $20.00
