Radio Shack Wireless Hygrometers On Sale.

Just went up to mmy local Radio Shack and Purchased the Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Thermometer/Hygrometer on sale for $17.97 -- the remote Sensors are also on Clearance for $7.97. Saleshole told me that the current model may be discontinued. Good Price!

I'm leaving right now to clean out the rest of their Sensors.

In case your local store doesn't have the same deal, here is the info on my local store...maybe they can call and get it to YOU at the same price!

Yes. It's true that they are being discontinued and have been onsale for a couple months -- while supplies last. I love mine.

I don't think the sensors were on sale when I picked up mine as the sensors work with multiple models and were not scheduled to be discontinued. $7.97 is a GREAT price on those. May have to shoot on over and pick up another one.

I just got one of these-- they didn't have any additional sensors though. Do you happen to know the catalog # of just the sensor? I can't find it on thier website and asking an employee is generally hopeless.

Same as mine - Outdoor Sensor 63-1092.

The discontinued base unit that is on sale is model # 63-1089.

I think you have to go to a "corporate owned" RS to get these sale prices. I tried 2 locally owned stores in my (Southeast Kansas) area & they couldn't/wouldn't touch these prices.

Well stopped by my local RS this morning and they had the Base unit w/1 sensor for $17. I bought one of those but they had NO separate sensors in stock.

I went on RS online and figured I order 2 well they are out of stock also.

Anyone know if you can expand beyond 3 remote sensors? I have three already and need one or two more. But I don't want it interfering with the channels already in use.

Just got done reading the manual for this thing and I would have to say 3 sensors only as it only has 3 channels.

I've got the same problem. I thought about getting another base unit and more remotes. But figuring the all operate on the same freq. I'm sure they would all interfere with each other.
