Re: Ronson JetLite Butane Lighter

I saw these and thought about picking it up.

Looks like I'm going to now. I still am using an 8 dollar triple flame lighter I bought from a tabacco shop. Works really well too, but I think that three flames is just overkill and a waste of butane. I always accidentally burn too much of the cigar since the flame is so wide.

I'm gonna hit walmart today and get one or two of these.

Is it safe to keep one of these in a car filled with butane. I live in Houston and it can reach 100 degrees outside, so inside the car there is no telling- 120-130 possibly? I drive a dark green car!

What do you guys think?

I might take a look at one or two other wal-marts, but if I can't find one is there anyway someone could hook me up with an extra or pick one up for me. It'd be a huge favour, and I'd definently send the money over for it!

My father-in-law was out of town this weekend so I didn't end up going to Tomball or Serious Cigars so I've got no news for you about the wireless. But I've got to go to WM after work today, so if they've got any of the lighters I'll pick you one up. PM me your address.

Sure, but I wouldn't recommend driving a car filled with butane.

Filled with butane, true?

Just picked one up on the way home. I feel so sophisticated now that I'm not using the charcoal lighter

Re: Ronson JetLite Butane Lighter

Thanks then. I was always afraid of keeping a filled lighter in the car at 120 degrees, but if you havent had any problems I may try it out.

Re: Ronson JetLite Butane Lighter

I've been using them for about six months now and I've yet to have one die on me. I even had one go through the washing machine and it worked fine the next day. I refill them with Vector butane and they work even better.

Finally found one of these at the wal mart near my college. Feels and looks good for only being 3 bucks. So far it lights on each click, great find.
