Tiger 3-flame Butane Torch

Well as stated in the All-Lounge, my wife is supporting the habit was all sorts of cigar goodies...and she didn't skimp on the torch as well.

The tiger 3-flame torch came in a very cool metal case and no instructions. But then again, it's a torch...you have the button to push and the flame comes out...how hard can it be? I guess they thought the same thing.

The flame shoots out straight and true - 3 flames of burning glory to torch your stogie...what more could you ask for?

However, with three flames o' burning, it doesn't take long for the top of the lighter to get hot - be careful!

Butane refilling is easy - and like many butane lighters before it, just flip it over, insert the butane recharging and then be on your way.

The only thing i didn't like about this torch was the fact that you have to manually flip the protector up before you push the ignitor.

Also, if any of the round torch heads fall out, the entire lighter will not function - one of them did fall out on me that was "probably" jiggled loose during shipping. refitting it with a pair of tweezers and tapping it softly back in place has re-secured it with no additional problems.

I would recommend this torch to others and have enjoyed lighting many of sticks and plan on continuing to do so down the slippery slope.

Nice review.. I was going to ask you if the lid popped up. I have a triple torch that does just that... when you press the ignitor, the lid pops up automatically.. got it for free when i bought a few Xikar cutters on ebay.. Don't really know the brand. My one complaint about it is that since it is a triple flame torch, it goes through butane SUPER fast. Kinda sucks.. Im on the hunt for a good single flame now..

Actually, this particular torch's lid does NOT pop open. At first I was kinda annoyed by that - but then I thought "Well, atleast it won't accidentally torch a hole in my leg if it were to spontaneously get pushed...."

Re: Tiger 3-flame Butane Torch

Nice review, for the post about the triple torch burning butane too fast and looking for a good single torch, try a double torch. I have a Tiger that looks very similar to the one reviewed but just 2 torches (the lid also has to be manually flipped), it also came with a “key” for the flame level on the bottom and it fits all of my different lighters. That was worth the price alone, no more fumbling for something to fit in that tiny spot and also turn it. I have found the Tiger lighters to be a great value, they work great and about half the price of some other brands. It has a pretty large tank for fuel which makes it the same or even a little better than the single torches I have. Just my .

Re: Tiger 3-flame Butane Torch

i much prefer a manual flip cap, my current torch has an auto cap that keeps opening in my pocket which is very annoying.

great review tho, i prefer the single flame so i can use it for pipes too, 3 flames would prob set fie to the rim of the bowl
