Spanish Cedar Cigar Trays

I recently received five Spanish Cedar Trays from Cheaphumidors.com which I think are going to solve one of my problem. I have been wanting an easy and inexpensive way to store 200 or so cigars for long term aging. Really didn't want to order/cut/install Spanish cedar panels in a cooler so when I saw these trays I figured they might be just the ticket.

Each tray is 12 1/2 L x 2 1/4 H x 7 1/2 W and holds 30 - 40 cigars depending so size. The cost is $9.99 each.

The five trays stack very well in the Coleman Personal Cooler available at Wal-Mart for about $15.00. So for around $75.00 you can have a small coolerdor with five nice Spanish Cedar trays. The cooler even has a handle for easy handling.

You can find these trays on line at:

Looks good...I have been thinking if those would give me more room in my coolerdor than cigar boxes do...or less....still not sure.

That's a pretty neat way to go and skip lining the cooler. Also not a bad price on the trays I just did the opposite for my small recycled freezer and put in Spanish Cedar shelves and picked up small ventilated plastic bins in different colors. Each hold 40-50 sticks. Have a mixture of boxes and the bins in the cooler.

Frank what are you using in the new cooler to control RH?

65% beads from fellow gorilla Viper139 at www.heartfeltindustries.com. They work great! Notice two bags of beads in the cooler, front and left side.

Re: Spanish Cedar Cigar Trays

I'll bet that cooler fits four trays...looks exactly like one of mine.

I bought these trays from the same vendor and I have been very pleased with them. You can get two rows (layers), of most cigars, on eack tray.

Nice pics.

I think it is only a 28 quart Coleman cooler. I got two of them at Wal-Mart for something like $14.95 each. Put boxes in one and stacked all five trays plus a box in the the one pictured. It was really easy and works great.
