Opus X Perfecxion No.5
Well, tonight I decided that in honor of Webmeister and JohnRider, that I would smoke a nice cigar... I decided on a Opus X Perfecxion No.5. I had two in my humi that I purchased back in November of last year, so they've had about 8 or so months of additional age on them. Let me tell you that this was one helluva cigar! Now I took some pics of the event, but alas it was so dark out that focusing was impossible. So, bear with the cruddy pics.
Julie and I went out to view the meteor shower, only to see one little flash in the sky. Oh well, this cigar made me forget about the meteors in the sky... I paired it with a nice dram of Glenlivit 18 yr old Scotch and I was on my way! The size of the cigar belied it's flavor which was LARGE! So much packed into such a small package... WOW is all I can say! I would give the experience a 9.9 / 10! A new high mark for me! Now I didn't do a formal review, as it would have been really hard to do out in the dark at midnight, looking for meteors, so sorry about that. Regardless, this was a tier-1 smoke! Michael, John, here's to you guys!  CD

Nice little review, Ceedee.
I also went out side to see the "meteor shower." And didn't see much but I had a Gurkha vintage with some coffee. so I didn't mind much I plan on trying the opus x one day, I've heard so many great things on them. |
