Red Sox #1 - El Tiante Celebration...
I just had to post a pic of my cigar of choice tonight - the El Tiante Maduro Belicoso. Red Sox fans know that "El Tiante" is Louis Tiant, the famous Cuban Red Sox hurler of the 70's. He is a legend in Beantown and still resides there. He also has his own cigar company and you may have seen some of the Red Sox players sparking up a couple El Tiante's during the parade downtown today (eg. Papelbon)! Anwho, my good buddy "cabaiguan" gifted me a couple last year and I smoked one then and saved one for a year, hoping to smoke it when the Sox won the series once again. Well, looks like all the age I got to put on this baby was a year, thank goodness
I promised that I would post a pic for "Cabby", so here it is. Thanks again Cabby, this was an awesome smoke! I gotta get me some more of these! CD

Guess it was a good thing the Sox won the pennant this year or that bad boy would have been sleeping for a while longer. Too bad the El Tiante event didn't happen here. Looks like you managed to enjoy an El Tiante event of your own tonight!

Very nice! My grandfather was a huge Red Sox fan. Unfortunately, he didn't live long enough to ever see them win a World Series. I suspect he's up there somewhere smiling now and has been since 2004.

A very smooth and mellow cigar! Mild, but flavorful. Had a tad of spice at first, but mostly just a nice maduro wrapped mild cigar!

Great looking cigar. Does he make anything on the full bodied side?

Red Sox are the Best
CeeDee,
It is great to see Papelbon and the rest of the crew with the gogles on dancing in a sea of champagne. The El Tiante cigar is not bad but the sox winning the Series again is priceless. Cabby
