Gave the Drew Estate Java a second chance....good idea?

i figured since i got into cigars because of the Acid line (don;t maul me, i haven't had one in over a year) that i'd give the java another shot. I didn;t like the java when i tried it the first time, but i also didn;t like coffee then.

this is the Java Latte, by the way

here's some photos of the cigar....well constructed i must say...and smells like delicious coffee....but as you can tell by my reaction...

still not a fan?

I have never tried the latte but the normal java's, the few ive had, were pretty nice. Something nice about them when your looking for a change of pace. I have not had one in months so perhaps the newer ones are not as good?

i like them, not to have all the time, but occasionally, a little too sweet on the lips, but good flavors imo

Thats strange, I love the Java's! I'd like to buy a box when the funds are there. Although, out of the two, the standard and the Late Java's, I defiantly like the regular one much better. Gimme one of those and a good cup of fresh ground French roast on a Sunday morning with the GF sleeping in long enough to lemme finish my smoke and I'm in heaven. Nothing but me n' the birds.

Now that's a great way to start a day! I'm relaxing just thinking about it. I'm in the same boat as you with the Javas. I'm not a fan of the light flavor the Lattes give me but enjoy the deeper ones of the regular line. The are a bit on the higher side for a stick price though.

thisone326, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm lovin' your reaction pictures.

i may need to give the regular java's another shot....the latte's were indeed too sweet for my likings...it was smooth, but i don;t like many sweet things, let alone cigars

Don't be ashamed I got hooked with the Kuba Kuba and the rest of the line. Now I cannot stand them. Me and my buddy tried smoking one for old times sake, it was in the ashtray before the 1/3 was through.

I have always secretly wanted to try the regular Java though... sssshhhhh

I enjoy the natural line from Drew Estate from time to time, the Root makes for a nice change up. It reminds me of pipe tobacco.
