Erik Makes His Mark - again!
I read John's thread about the Maker's Mark bomb he received from Erik @ Maker's Mark. I replied that it couldn't happen to a more deserving botl. I also said how I have been an MM Ambassador for years, and how the questions I asked about the infusion method using 'contact us' on the website were never answered.

Erik contact me shortly after my post and answered my questions. He also sent me this very nice bomb - consisting of Maker's Mark Coffee and three Maker's Mark cigars.

It's probably going to take me a lot of trial and error to figure out just how much Maker's Mark Burbon to put in a cup of the Maker's Mark Coffee. I guess I'll have to suffer through it - one cup at a time <insert buzzed smiley face here>. And of course, I'll be smoking one of the Marker's Mark cigars while I test the mix.

mmmmm, makers mark is good stuff.
saw the cigars in the liquor store the other day and contemplated picking up one, but i already had a full basket.
enjoy your coffee experiment, sounds like you may want to stay away from heavy machinery during and afterwards.

Makers Mark has always been good to me. I really miss living in Kentucky, where I could make a trip down to Loretto on a regular basis. My barrel of bourbon should be ready in the next few years, and I plan on living it up down there when the opportunity arises.

Nope, its shared with like 11 other people. When you sign up on their website for the ambassador program they eventually put your name on a barrel and after the 5-7 years of aging you get the chance to buy a few bottles out of your own barrel.
