Ashton ESG 20 Year Slaute
So today I decided to smoke the ESG that Gerry blew me up with. It measures 6.75 x 49 and is a beautiful stick. The wrapper looks silky smooth with a few very small veins. And the band is awesome. I have enjoyed the VSG's I have smoked, so was really looking forward to this. After a quick clip the draw was great. Once lit the cigar produced tons of thick flavourful smoke and was sooo smooth. The flavours I got were Leather, Cinnamon and a sort of sweet cocoa flavour with hints of spice. The burn was almost perfect, getting alittle wavey a few times. Overall I think this was a truly awesome smoke and shoots right to the top of my favourite cigars (as you may tell from the little nub I left ). It took me about 2 1/2 hours to smoke this ESG. If you ever get the chance to pick one up, dont hesitate. Thank you very much to Gerry for giving me the chance to try this cigar.

I was up in Cape Cod a couple of weeks ago, saw that stick in a shop, picked it up...one of the best smokes ive had! a great smoke. hope you enjoyed it! (which i had one now to enjoy....)
