You might try a stogie nubber, not so cheap, but, manageable $$$$, and you can set it down anyplace without getting ashes all over it. Plus, when it goes out, and they do when they are that small, lighting it is very easy without burning your fingers. But, whatever works, that is great. All of these work, and are useful! Best, ylo2na

I laughed very much when you said that. The shape is partly a result, well, a whole lot, of a foregrip of a bassrod which is about 3 inches long. If you have a bass rod go check out your foregrip and you will see the similarities! Because I make custom fishing rods, that is where the idea came from for the Stogie nubber because I made all kinds of little tools using the rubber grips to insert other tools that I needed. In this instance, I inserted a seamstress tool that I used to cut threads with on the rod into a foregrip and used it for years. When I wanted to continue smoking that great smoke, Padron 1926 Anniversario late one evening, I found this seamstress tool in my cupboard. Ground down the edge and the rest is history regarding the Stogie nubber. Again, thanks for making me laugh with your description. Best,

Haven't seen one of those in a long time, thats hilarious. Some may think it's cheap, but it looks like it works just as well.
