Results of vacation at in-laws
 Vacations of late have been used to visit my aging mother in law. A terrific woman but a little goes a long way if you know what I mean. My wife appeases me with an out of state fishing license so I can keep busy, but with the sour weather up north fishing was spotty. I was told to visit the local B&Ms in the area and informed we would be taking a detour home through Chicago to visit her old college girl friend and that again I should find some local B&Ms. At any rate, here are the results. A few were on the door step compliments of Cbid. I told her I was looking forward to visiting her mom again come Christmas.  |

some great looking smokes you got on vacation. I hope you got to enjoy the same caliber while up north! That Kristoff is a thing of beauty.

The red label Kristoff is a Sumatra. Good cigar and very appealing to the eyes.

I live in a smallish town and have to drive, or go online to find some of the harder to find smokes. That was the first time I could locate the Kristoff Sumatra, or the CAO La Traviata. My area B&Ms within in 50 miles do not carry the Padron premuims either. Smokes that did not make it home included a couple of Kristoff Ligeros that went with me, a few of the Camacho SLR Maduros, an AF Short Story, one La Aroma de Cuba (nice), an RP Vintage 1999 Conneticut, (milder than I tend to smoke but I do like them), and a couple of CAO Italia Piccolas.
I want to find other smokes similar to the RP Vintage 1999 if anyone has suggestions. Thanks go to the forum frequenters for great insight as to what to look for on my trip. Thanks to all. |
