i love the 3k's, but wouldn't mind a smaller version (i.e. the 2k). if the blend is different though, i'll stick with the 3k's.

thanks for the info!

I believe they are basically the same. I can tell no difference.

Incredible! You didn't tell JKeats to send you some of each size so you could "evaluate" them for him????

I think the 3000 is the best. I find the 2000 gets bitter & hash.

Send them too me to try if Matt does not want them!!! :+ :+

What he means to say is, domestics aren't worth mooching, unless they are rare and overpriced. :+

They are all good but the larger gauge Padrons tend to mute the wrapper. The Delicias and Ambassadors will surprise you for thin/shorter smokes.

For anyone who thinks wrapper is 5% of taste: peel the wrapper off an OpusX and smoke it!:9

I believe that the blend is the same, but I prefer the 3k's because of the larger ring gauge. Not only does it burn cooler but I like the feel of it in my mouth/hand better.

I also think they're pretty much the same, but have different purposes.
The 2000- a ride on the mower.
The 3000- A little quality time on the back deck.
The 4000-Football!

I smoked a 2000 and 3000 (maduros) last week, and they tasted the same to me.
