This is a public service post. I am NOT an admin - I just gathered some information together that I thought would be useful.
Hello newbies (relatively speaking that includes me). I'm guessing you came here looking for some specific information. Maybe you've noticed the search feature and used it to find exactly what you need. In any case, there are an awful lot of questions that are just completely natural to ask about cigars. Everyone wants to know the same things at first. Some of these common questions are stickies in the various forums. Explore all of the forums and look at the stickies that are at the top of each. However, there are some other common questions that are not stickies. This thread is to help you find them. Shall we begin? OK, I'm holding a cigar in my hand. How do I start? Do you punch or cut cigars? Do you smoke with the band on or off? Ready to light What should I light cigars with? ... more on lighting cigars So, do I just puff? Good point Roger - I've already found a couple more threads I should have put in as well, but it's too late to edit. Maybe after this sits for a week or two and it becomes clear what is missing, an admin can edit the original post to put a few more links in and keep it all up top. |
