Cubans come with a nifty box code that can (according to the production year) either be deciphered using one of the many cigar-geek spidey decoder rings or just read in plain english.. err.. spanish. Factory, month and year are there for future reference.
This does not seem to be the case on NC cigar boxes. I'd like a way to know how old my boxes of Honduran/Nic/DR/etc. goodness are without having to keep 50MB of cross referenced databases (even then, you only know when you bought them not when they were boxed). Am I missing something or is that just the way it is?
