Help identifying a cigar...

Well, unfortunately, I'm just finishing it as we speak now, but as part of an 'aged' sampler from Atlantic Cigars, I got a little 4 x 36 (???) stick, by a company called Licencia Dos... I'm presumin this was a boom brand, but there are no reviews on top25... any ideas anyone?

Does the band sort of look like a Cuban Diplomaticos band?

Both of you, spot on! It is indeed the brand... I take it that there is some sort of Diplimaticos connection then?

Re: Help identifying a cigar...

Made in the DR by MATASA/Manuel Quesada. Mild with a Connecticut shade wrapper. Don't buy Licenciados from Thompson's as their prices are way too high. A lot of vendors carry them, but since it is not a favorite of mine, I don't know who might have the best price. You might try googling Licenciados (lah-sensi-yados), or you might try www.mikescigars.com; www.jrcigars.com; www.cheapercigars.com; www.cigarsinternational.com.
