Te-Amo

I'm going to give this brand a try. I know it's a cigar you either love or hate and you have to form your own oppinion on it and all, but I'd like to here some suggestions on which size I should try. If anyone has any comments on any of the sizes that come in a 10ct box for $15 at JR's, I'd like to hear them.

I'm leaning towards the figuardos.

Re: Te-Amo

I have tried both the Gran Piramide and the Figurados, and any of those are ok. The meditations I havent bought any, but I think you are better with the Figurados or Gran Piramides. Hope you like Em.

Re: Te-Amo

the flavor profile in their main line is fairly consistent........you can't go wrong with any of em'...........I've had the figuarado and the meditation.........both are very similar in flavor..........in this line, I actually prefer the EMS as opposed to the maduro, although the maddies aren't bad either.

given that, they do have a unique flavor as the ad suggests.........I've always thought they had a earthy/grassy flavor...........not unpleasant, just different......once in a while, I'll pick up a couple for a change.

good luck......hope you enjoy them

I'd have to agree with that statement. I've only smoked a couple from the regular line and they both had a Grassy, earth flavor to em. Not a bad taste but like singlguy says different from anything else.

Re: Te-Amo

Yep. A musty grassy flavor with an almost pickling spice hint in the finish.

Re: Te-Amo

i always loved the look of the figurado....it is a very interesting looking cigar...and with a maduro wrapper on it....is downright pretty!!!!

many years ago i had one...that was just like smoking dark cherries....very fruity flavors and extremely tasty.....bought another 10 pack about 3 years ago and they sucked......

maybe i will have to revisit these....for $15 how can you go wrong?

so my suggestion on these would definitely be the figuarado maduro!

Re: Te-Amo

I dug a pyramid out last nite. Didn't get the pickling spice thing, but got the mustiness & the grassy flavor. There was a nice cinnamon spice tone at 1st, then a (I'm not sure how to explain this one) dirt/earthy type aspect. Not the rich loam of damp farm dirt, but more like it would be like after a dry spell. A bit of spice returned at the end. Medium bodied & maybe a little milder than I remember, but these have been in the humidor for a couple of years. The cello was nice & yellow.

Re: Te-Amo

Just not my type of cigar. The taste is a little on the grassy side. These cigars are also very spicy with a spicy spicy finish towrds the end.
