Question La Aroma De Cuba?

Any of you guys have some familiarity with the La Aroma de Cuba line? I'm smoking my first one now. Its a Corona Minor. I'll post the review when I finish with it.

I've read some positive review about it. Dosn't seem like too pricey of a cigar. Looking forward to reading other people's experiences.

Thanks,
Jeff

Re: La Aroma De Cuba?

I really like the line. I've had the Robusto and the Cetro and enjoyed both.

Let me know what you think.

A friend of mine gave me a corona and I enjoyed it immensely. Medium bodied and very smooth. I'm a noob but, for now, this is one of my absolute favorites. Hope you enjoy them, too. I look forward to your review.

Re: La Aroma De Cuba?

I have found them a bit inconsistant and also a bit sensitive to humidity. However, the majority of the ones that I have smoked were very good, and my humidor always contains at least a couple.

Re: La Aroma De Cuba?

I tried a Corona that was sent to me in a bomb by a BOTL, and thought it was great...smooth, creamy, nice flavor all around. I bought a sampler with 6 different sizes just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, and I liked those so much I just bought a box of Coronas from seriouscigars. Tell us what you think, Jeff.

Re: La Aroma De Cuba?

I have smoked a ton of them..Double Corona, Robusto Monarch.& Pyrimid..I found a place where I can get them for about 70bucks a box. I really like them and if you let them age a bit they get quite good.

Re: La Aroma De Cuba?

The price on these is excellent, anywhere from $3-$6 for me at the local with NYS tax, and a very good smoke. Even cheaper online.

Its at the casino smoke shop in Minnesota..Its very strange everything else they sell is very expensive but these for some reason are very underpriced..If you buy a box they give you 10% off so it runs 70-75 dollars depending on which size you buy..

Jerry in Minnesota..(there has to be something good about living in this shit state)

Re: La Aroma De Cuba?

Like it or not Fuente makes a good product. The dozen or so I had all had one thing in common. Right around the band it really becomes a fuller bodied smoke. This time next year I think they won't be as low in price as they are right now. The corona was ranked #16 I think if memory is correct in cA top 25 of 2004.

hehe...it's called TAR. And no, that's not faint hints of chocolate...that's tar.
Seriously, anyone else think tar is actually responsible for people tasting chocolate near the end?
