Flavored sample

I am asking this on behalf of a friend, although I'm a novice, as well.

http://www.cubancrafters.com/products.php/item_id/244
He was recommended these on another forum which is not dedicated to tabacco products so I told him to post here and he asked I do it since he can't find the time.

He wants a flavored sample that a beginner can enjoy. He has described to me that he wants something similar to peach/sweet, but I don't know what's a good choice.

I was wondering if anyone knew if this is the sample he would want or is there a better one someone can recommend.

Thank you.

Re: Flavored sample

I don't think these sticks are flavored in the sense that you are talking about. When you say "flavored" and "peach/sweet" am I to assume you mean an infused cigar such as an Acid or White Owls flavored offerings?

If so I don't think this sampler is for you. I've never had these particular smokes before but the description seems to me to be describing a conventional cigar. Not a flavored one.

If he likes flavored/infused/sweet/icky-poo cigars ..... nevermind the icky-poo statement ..... these I see floating around from time to time at varried B&Ms as a sampler in a box.

Re: Flavored sample

i tried a white owl grape blunt... for that i'd rather smoke a Quorom. only other flavored 'cigar' i've tried is an Independece Xtreme Vanilla that i bought during a stopover in Leipzig, Germany. actually found it enjoyable for my newbie tastes. dunno if it is available here in the US

a flavored cigaritto i like are Prime Times found in chevron gas station stores; rum flavor is the one i like to burn when on a quickie smoke break

Yeah, in reading the descriptions and whatnot, it seems like those are just "regular old tobacco" cigars. I don't mean to say necessarily that those are bad cigars, but I'd stay away from those if you're looking for "flavored" sticks unless you can find someone with experience otherwise.

These, on the other hand, I'll recommend for a flavored sampler. The girlfriend swears by these, and apparently (according to the owner of my B&M and a pamphlet he had) the flavoring agents in these are all natural. The pamphlet mentioned something about most flavored cigar companies using assorted artificial flavorings, citing specifically that some of those companies use the same flavoring agents as Froot Loops and Starbursts. Maybe it's the stupid hippie in me, but I feel bad enough eating that stuff. Burning and inhaling it?
