Yellow smoke?

Hello there

My wife has been trying out some cigars one of them being a tatiana cherry flavor cigar. She was wounder and myself also seems that the smoke was very yellow in color (exhaled smoke) what would be the cause of this?

Smoke is composed to solid particles and gasses. Perhaps one of the flavorants is colored and is exhaled in a gasseous state?

Re: Yellow smoke?

I could be wrong, but from my experience with cigarettes, pipes, cigars, roll-ups and all manner of smokeable things, most tobacco has a browny-yellow smoke, and I was always led to believe this was nicotine and tar. And my now standard disclaimer: I could be entirely wrong.

So anyway, my assumption would be that it either has a high nicotine and tar content, or something in the cigar gives off a yellow colour when burnt. At least it isn't green, I believe thats copper.

Re: Yellow smoke?

I just smoked a very nice cigar that SeanGAR sent me this morning.
It was very sunny out where I was smoking and I noticed that smoke off the end of the cigar had a blue tinge and did not spread out much, while smoke from my mouth was in fact slightly yellow, and spread out into a huge cloud.

So it might have nothing to do with the flavoring.
