Indian Tabac opinions

I was thinking of picking up a box of Indian Tabac Classics, Cuban Corojos or Maduros and was wondering if any of you Gorillas had some advice?

I searched the forums and found some decent reviews and at $40 - $50 a box if I don't like them I can keep them around so the non-smokers can still feel like part of the club on poker night.

Lately I've been smoking Ancient Warrior, CAO Brazilia, Punch Gran Puro while relaxing and Helix while walking the dog or running around.

This would be the first time I've bought a box sight un, um, smoked... any suggestions?

I like the IT Tomahawk maddies and if you don't want to try them without tatsing them first, try the C-bid route. They always seem to have a fiver on auction.

Given what you're smoking lately I would think you would like any of them. Out of the three you mentioned, I prefer the maddies, but will happily smoke any of them.

I am particularly fond of the IT Maduro Teepees and the Fire PCs (Maduro and corojo). Both excellent smokes for not much $$$.

I'm like the other posters here. I like them. Fire is a good stick and the Super Fuerte are especially (surprised no one mentioned them yet) either MADDY or Not. I do have to say that they do need some age to take the edge off.

Don't give a cigar you wouldn't smoke to someone who doesn't smoke many cigars to start with. They definetely won't like it either, and if they smoked something good, you may have some new converts. Try buying a couple off of someone on this board or at a store and decide from there.

Racing bikes are the best. Specialized S-Works E-5 Aerotech. Light as a feather, quick as flash. The bike of choice for Cippolini.

I agree with Ken, the Super Fuerte's are the best of the line IMHO. I'm partial to the maddies, but the naturals are good too. I didn't mention them at first because they are usually in the $60-70 range per box. Good advice here though from other gorillas, buy a couple first to try them before getting a whole box. No two gorillas have the exact same tastes.

If it was total junk I'd never pass them along, I'd sell them to underage kids

Seriously though, just because I don't like a cigar doesn't mean it won't become someone else's favorite.

I really enjoy the maduro's and also have a box of the Cameroon Legend. Both a pretty tasty. I don't think you'll be disappointed, no matter what your decision.

IMHO I like both the natural and Maddy Super Fuertes equally.

Good call - those Super Fuerte Maduros are awesome sticks. Just plain awesome - one of the best tasting smokes I've had yet.

Can't go wrong with indian tabac. For the price, one of the nicest smokes out there. I like the boxer maddies, and the super fuertes, but really, they're all good sticks.

I totally agree, I had a Super Fuerte and really liked, especially for the money. I even wrote a review on it, but I think it was before the crash.
