I have read in several different review here and elsewhere that a cigar may have a "short finish". I am not sure what that means. Can you help a fellow gorilla out?

The "finish" is the flavor that stays in your mouth after you expell all the smoke from your mouth/nose.

That's what I love about this place. I thought the "finish" was the last part of the cigar you smoked before you laid it to rest. Now I wonder what is the correct term for that.

That's called, in technical cigar smoking terms, "the last part of the cigar before you nub it."
