SLR Regios?

Just looking at different hermosos sized cigars and i stumbled across the slr regios not too long ago and haven't heard much about it.
searched and found a real old review on it, and recently talked to smitty about the one he had.

So you guys tried em?
How'd you like em?
What's the flavor profile on em?

thanks for any information.

Don't forget to check out the Top25 database. Tons of reviews there.

I recently got a box of these - the main reason: they were on sale. The box I have is April 05 (not positive on the month without checking). I find this to be a little fuller than medium with some chocolate tastes trying to come through. I think these will need at least 2 years to develop. If you want to buy these to smoke now, I would try to get a box with a couple of years on it. It shouldn't be hard to find an 03 box of these. The price is usually right with these. Are these a great smoke - no, but definitely above average. Looking forward to the day these are smoking really well.

Re: SLR Regios?

I have about half a mid '04 box left and think that they are pretty decent cigars. I've handed a few out to some other guys on the board, so maybe they will chime in with their opinions. I think they still taste a bit young but have some potential. They're not as full-bodied or as complex as I like so I doubt I'll be ordering any more.

I agree with this James. Cigar was pretty tangy with a definite twang, but pretty mild and one-dimensional for my taste. Then again, if it was mid-04 who knows how great these would age.
