yeah, you should buy a box of CAO Palms, and send half to me...
Sorry, couldn't resist... honestly, I don't feel qualified to make a recommendation, as I've smoked maybe a total of 6 NICE cigars... I like CAO golds, CAO Extreme, Onyx Reserve.... but beyond that, my experience is extremely limited (read: zero)

Re: Suggestions?

For ISOMs you can take a look at www.cigars-review.org/ and you can also take a look at www.top25cigars.com for some good reviews.

Re: Suggestions?

How about a Monty A, Partagas Lusitania, Cohiba Lancero, Diplimatico No 2 is a good start, let me know when you finish those, and then I can suggest some more based on you input....

Re: Suggestions?

For an average good Isom go with the HUpmann Mag 46 and the Monte #2 or #4.

For a good Non Cuban go with the Padron or the Opus and Anejo which is sometimes hard to find but worth it IMOA.

Re: Suggestions?

Got to top25.com, then, the top 25 batabase, start at the top and work your way down. That is what I would do if I was out of the states and price is no object. Hell, I might do it any way.

Stay safe over there, Brother!

If your doing CAO, make sure you grab a few Italia's, Anita and mines favorite CAO, Brazilia's are very good as well.

Re: Suggestions?

Go with Justinphilly's suggestion. Go to cigarbid.com, go the the samplers, and pick out two or three that have a variety of sticks. They have samplers in all taste ranges, and I can often get the samplers for not a whole lot more than $1.00 to $1.50 per stick, which is a bargain!!

Good way to get a taste of many different smokes, for not a lot of money.

On a more personal level, PM me your addy for an "off thread" newbie trade, and I promise to hit you back with a decent variety pack of smokes (check out my recent bombing of Pinokio, and keep you eyes open this week for another overseas bomb that should be striking in a day or two).
