quick question

as i am quickly filling up my 500 ct. footlocker humidor i want to know how many cigars deep it is O.k. to keep in the humi.you know like row wise.i would love to keep the sticks in their boxes but that is impossible.90% of my sticks are in cello and are layed out at the bottom part and the naked ones are keep on the two trays.if it gets like six to eight rows deep will it effect the ones at the bottom by not giving the proper air flow?? i rotate them on the the regular because i suffer greatly from C.A.D.D (Cigar admiration dsyfunction disorder) so its not like they are kept in a dark basement never to see the light of day.

thanks for listening, bye-bye now.

Re: quick question

If you are very gentle with them they will be fine. It wouldn't hurt to place the thin cedar from boxes every 2 layers to distribute the weight. If you can get a cooler for original boxes that receive minimal handling while aging, all the better.

Re: quick question

Try to have one of those beads or crystal tubes somewhere in between the stash just in case the cigars at the bottom dry out. You ca get them at JR's or from viper.

Re: quick question

I agree with Nely about the bead, and wholeheartedly endorse viper's product... if you're gonna buy the stuff, buy from someone on the board... I know I, along with just about everyone else here can vouch for the quality of viper's stuff, and his excellent customer service... clicky

just my
