Hoyo de Monterey Cigar label...

Just received this 3 pack of Hoyo de Monterey's but I have not seen this label before... Usually it is JOSE on one side of label and GENER on the other. Anybody else seen this label? Are they legit? Any insight is appreciated.

Looks fine to me, those labels are also on the petite robustos I have. Trip caps look nice, so does the foot. Smoke one and find out, but if you trust the source then why worry?

Im sure a few other BOTL here will chime in.

First time using this particular source, so I bought a couple of 3 packs from them to try them out. I just haven't seen the label before.

Yep, those are fine.... some of the newer line vitola's come with HDM's new band. Nothing to worry about bro.

I have quite a few sticks with those bands on 'em...

I actually prefer these newer bands...

No problem.... so which vitola are the ones you have pictured?

Have you had much experience with the HDM line? If not, I would suggest starting off with a sampling of Epicure #2's as well as Doble Corona's. Those are some of my personal favorites in the HDM brand. Also give the HDM Le Hoyo Du Roi and Des Dieux a try. They are the real sleepers of the HDM line

Also just for your own personal edification.... HDM has 3 different types of bands.

The first is the type found on DC's


The second is the type found on Petit Robusto's and some Epi 2's


And the third is the type found on certiain other vitola's like the Le Hoyo Des Dieux



Just thought that would help.

I realize that this thread has a few years on it...but I think adding to the database with a photo is always timely. My brother Frank gifted me one of these cigars a while back. It was tasteeee and smooth.
