Seems too good to be true, so tell me, how crappy are these?

Re: Any opinions on Savoy?

I have never had them before nor have I seen them on CI before today. But a quick google search and it seems they are made by Ashton

If the devil site hadn't stolen my wallet I might of picked up a couple boxees for a morning smoke!

Re: Any opinions on Savoy?

Holts used to carry some Savoys made by Ashton.

However, these may not be the same because the CI copy suggests they are mixed fillers.

If anyone can figure this one out speak up quickly.

Quick check of Holts and they still do.

They both have the same description but CI is half the price.

Anybody tried one?

For the price, they may be worth the gamble, even if no one can tell us about them from experience.

Re: Any opinions on Savoy?

I took the bait and will do a review once they arrive. Even for a yard or golf gar that's not too much to 22 dollars delivered isn't too much to gamble for any product made by Ashton.

Great find. I see Txmatt also gave these the thumbs down--his reviews are notoriously reliable.

Maybe they will be tolerable with some age?

ive had a few. i didnt like them. i also dont thnk any age will help. bad cigars dont usually get better with age. they just are a mellower form of bad.

They are not good at all, imo. Many cheaper, better cigars out there.

Re: Any opinions on Savoy?

I've never had one, good luck if you go for it.
I've tried many cheap, excuse me, inexpensive cigars none have been any good, imho. A cheap good cigar is the holy grail many of keep trying to find.
