I just got 8 boxes of cigars, now what?

I managed to convince my family (extended as well) that cigars were the perfect gift to get me for Christmas. They obliged. Now I have eight boxes sitting in a "coolador*" until I can either acquire or build a humidor to hold them. Here is my inventory:

Partagas #10
Saint Luis Rey Reserva Especial Maduro Rothchilde
Cuesta-Rey Centenario No. 60 Maduro
Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Churchill
Juan Lopez Epicure #1
Perdomo Champagne Toro
Perdomo Reserve Camaroon Robusto
El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga- Maduro Toro

What I would like to do is let them age for about a year, and then have a nice stock of great cigars to smoke. Will it work? Is there anything special I should be doing, other than keeping the temperature and humidity stable, to improve my odds that this venture will be successful?

*Coolador- 120 quart Igloo ice chest, assorted chunks of cedar from cigar boxes, 2 crystal gel humidification canisters, digital hygrometer, comfortable spot in my basement.

I'd have a big meal, then crack open either the JL's or ERDM's and have a celebration cigar. They and the ERDMs are smoking pretty nice already. What a nice Christmas. Maybe beads for the coolidor but its a sealed environment so really matters not.

Thanks. I'm not up on beads. Where can I go to learn more? Is there a brand name I should be looking for?

Bead FAQs

There is some info on beads. Most of us get them from Viper. They do a great job keeping humidity stable.

Back to the point...nice Christmas haul. I'd say start smoking and those might last you a month. Unless you're like Klugs, then they'll last you the weekend.

Oh how I love the Holidays. Great stash !

The only thing that I can see that you can do more of is just BUY MORE CIGARS !!

The coolador will take care of the rest. Buy more, smoke more, age more.

Enjoy !!!!!!

Nice Haul!!!!
The beads work very well....but if you plan on getting a lot more boxes you may want to invest in a cabinet humidor.

Tell you what Lone, I got a 500 count humidor for Christmas. You can store your sticks in my space for a little rent.

Go with the beads from Viper. You can't go wrong.

You may not have to age them all a year. If I were you, I'd slowly be enjoying them now!
