Smile Looking for bundle recomendations

Hello,
I am new to the cigar world. About 7 months into getting serious. So far RyJ and La Gloria Series r mixed in with the occasional Perdomo have been my go to smokes. Knowing that can anyone recommend a good bundle that smokes similar to those brands. I would like to have cigars around for friends who pop in however I can't afford to hand out 5.00 cigars to those who don't smoke much. I don't want to hand out terrible tasting cigars as I am trying to get them to appreciate cigar smoking.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Looking for bundle recomendations

Mabye not similar but pretty darn good, GR Specials Red label. A good cheap Honduran. The Black Label's are milder but don't taste as good, imo. They are made by Gran Habano.

Here are more suggestions:

Re: Looking for bundle recomendations

I'm fond of Consuegra cigars. About a buck a stick in bundles of 25. They're segundos from the Villazon factory in Honduras - the makers of Punch, Hoyo de Monterrey, Excalibur, El Rey del Mundo, JR Ultimates, etc.

I've read that these aren't so much "seconds" as they are production over-runs. The ones that are least pretty, or don't match wrapper colors with the others, wind up as Consuegras. It's purely cosmetic, nothing wrong with the construction, content, or taste of the cigar.

Thanks for the replies. I wrote your suggestions down. I ordered a bundle of oba!oba! s Perdomo factory makes them for bestpricecigars.com. Anyone know anything about these? I hope I didn't order a bundle of dog turds. I will look into all of your suggestions. Again thanks, This is a great site.

I heartily agree. The GR's are a very good "cheaper" stick and I've smoked a lot of them. Also, you might want to check out the Spirit of Cuba by Alec Bradley. Comes in three wrappers and two sizes.

Re: Looking for bundle recomendations

Being just a regular workin' stiff, I've searched high and low for a good bundle, or maybe just the best smoke for your hard earned dollar. What I've found is that most bundles are just inconsistent. Sancho Panza's aren't bundles. But at 36 dollars plus shipping per box of 20 of the Rothschild's, you won't find a better cigar. IMHO

Olor del Cibao Cuban Seed and Primos bundles are my favorite bundle sticks...

Well aside from Habanos Torres...

Re: Looking for bundle recomendations

I also work on a budget..so I have enjoyed the National Brand from Famous Smoke.. along with La Floridita also at Famous. They both look nice and friends are impressed when I open the lid of the humi and pull one out... I tell them.. see those Opus X sitting there.. ingnore those.. these are the real cigars and they always leave with a smile. Also J.R. has a special going on Flora D Baloney cigar bundles. Buy one, get one free. So I have 50 of these sitting at the bottom of the humiy right now... nice dark maddy wrappers.. look nice... so I hope they smoke OK. If not.. the next time the grandson comes over, we will have 50 lincoln logs to build things with!!!

Re: Looking for bundle recomendations

I like to have some Montesinos around. They're made by Fuente, but are lighter than their regular line. They seem to go over well with folks who aren't regular cigar smokers. I'll dip into 'em on the semi-rare occasion when I want something mild. They run around $60-70 for a box of 25 robustos or toros online, but if you watch cbid you can probably do better.

My .
