Wrapped Cigars In A Humidor?

I just "prepped" my first humidor (25 count) and it is ready to be filled, and I was wondering: Should cigars that are sealed in plastic wrap be opened when stored in a humidor? (I bought a hand-picked selection of smokes with my humi and some are sealed and others aren't).

Any suggestions would be appreceiated.

You can leave them in the cellophane, they will breathe just fine.

Either way is fine. The plactic wrap nor the cello is air-tight.

see, i despise article like this that ends in "its your preference ebcausei made points to support both sides"....

I HATE THAT, I want someone to answer the question... not make a more complex one (question)..

Here's my answer.

Cellophane keeps the cigar to it's own taste and flavor. Cellophane protects the foot of the cigar so that it doesn't split and crack. Cellophane allows it to breath and be "humidified".

I say use it! Keep them in the cello!

Don't buy into this one. I just found one in an old humi that someone gave me where the foot is cracked a good inch and a half up into the body and the stick is as dry as a popcorn fart.
