Just ordered a bundle of Tampa Sweethearts #500 M and I would like to know if they will need to age any or are they good OTT? This must be bundle month for me cause I also just got my Famous 3000's in the other day.....Oh that slope is so slippery!

All cigars do better with some age. Just smoke them at whatever pace you want too.

I usually let them sit about a week. I get the 500's as well. As a matter of fact I'm smoking one right now.

You are right about that Millow but I was wondering about the Sweethearts in particular.

Well just in case anyone was wondering.....I got the sweethearts in today and smoked one right out of the box. IMO this is a good cheap stick, ugly as hell but good. I could taste Fuente all over it. I think I have a winner! Oh, and did I mention ugly?

Ever see the Fuente Curly Heads? They are ugly too but taste good. How was the burn is what I was wondering? Most sticks I have tried OTT didn't burn well at all. I like to let them stabilize for several days at least (like Frank said).

Burn needs a little help but taste is great. I'm on my 5th one now, I don't usually smoke this many in the short time I've had these but with the price I could afford to chain smoke these fellows! Going to get some Fuente DC SG's and another bundle of these PDQ!

A little FYI, I'm just about to finish my first bundle and they are getting better all the time! I'm going to order two more bundles this week. If you haven't tried them you need to.

Re: Tampa Sweethearts, Need age?

I would let the sit for a short period (1 week) and then I would smoke them. Domestics tend to settle in a little quicker (All except the Opus, and Don Carlos Beli/ No.2's)
