ACID Malta - ever had one?

I just picked one up at the local B&M. I had never heard of it before and was curious, but can't seem find any information on it (other than that they exist). Has anyone here tried one? What were your thoughts?

Mine will be resting in the humi for awhile before I try it myself.

Never heard of them. Sounds like someone needs to write up a review on one once he smokes it!...

Yeah, I was hoping someone already had. I've never tried a 'flavored' smoke and was just wondering what to expect. I guess they're not everybody's thing.

I will try my hand at a review when I do smoke it.

I do hope it is not in your regular humidor. If it is, I would remove it ASAP, infused and non-infused cigars should never be kept in the same humidor

Removed - thanks for the warning. That never even occurred to me.

The best strategy if you are going to keep a number of flavored smokes would be to set up a tupperdor completely seperate from your normal humidor.

Yup, just what I did. Of course there's only the one smoke in it at the moment (and it looks awfully lonely in there).

Thanks

I've never tried a Kuba either, so not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I guess it's subjective

Re: ACID Malta - ever had one?

I have not seen or had the malta but i have had several acids. People don't like the sweet sugar taste that comes with acids. I on the other hand like that taste. If you can get past that taste i feel acid cigars are very smooth and even the whole time. I have not had an acid that i have not liked. And i would say the kuba kuba is their most popular cigar so if you like this malta you should try some other their others such as kuba kuba, 1400, blondie.

Re: ACID Malta - ever had one?

I haven't tried the Malta but have attempted the Cold Infusion Tea (tasted like smoking extra sugared cotton candy) and the Kuba Kuba. I didn't like either. Couldn't get past the way too sweet to get a little tobacco flavor. That said, they are sold everywhere so somebody must like em'!
