What Do You Reccomend 4 Sweet cap Maduro

Hi Guys !....Newbie here.....JD

I have been a cigarette smoker for 35 years and am in the process of switching to cigars so to speak...I do like a Sweet Capped Cigar and prefer a Maduro Wrap...I started with the Drew Estate Acid line ( Atom..Toast..Kuba Kuba and a couple others)....My cigars of choice at this time are the Natural Dirt , Dirt Torpedo and the Tabak Especial..I am in a line of work that allows me to smoke during the workday...I am finding myself smoking 3-5 cigars some days..This can be an expensive habit at $3-6 a stick...I have tried several different Maduro samplers but didn't find anything interesting...

Has anyone tried these and if so , what did you think of them ?

Rocky Patel Fumas
Rocky Patel Double Maduro
Oliveros El Padrino
Nestor Reserve Maduro
Indian Tabak Super Fuerte
CAO "VR'

What would you reccomend for a smoker that likes a sweet/spicy aftertaste , Maduro wrapped , mocha/coffee flavored ok Cigar ?

Any input will be greatly appreciated....I need to find a couple good everyday cigars in the $2-3 range...There are so many different ones out there and I need help.....Thanks......JD

I've only had three of your above mentioned gars (RP Double Maduro, ITSF Maduro, and CAO VR) and none are flavored. I've enjoyed these cigars a lot but if flavored cigars is what you're looking for you might be disappointed. Isla Del Sol might be a brand you like (coffee infused) and they are priced right around $1.50/stick on a few online retailers. Good luck.

Baccarat Maduro would fall into this category.

Re: What Do You Reccomend 4 Sweet cap Maduro

I had an Indian Tabak Super Fuerte Natural robusto yesterday and it was pretty good. It had a lot of flavor - my only complaint was a tad of harshness, but I think if I let them hang out a little longer in the Humi and dry box it for a short while prior to smoking it'll be even better.

I am not sure about spicy, but if you want a good cheap Maduro, I like the Punch Maduros. I always keep a bunch around for fishing trips and when friends come over. You can usually find some for under $4 at your local place, probably real cheap if you buy in bulk.

I'd also suggest the Oliva line.

Re: What Do You Reccomend 4 Sweet cap Maduro

ive had an indian tabac SF once before that i loved. just got gifted a few more so i can revisit.
cant rmemeber if they made a maduro , but the famous nic. 1000's have a sweet cap and are pretty good for being a bundle smoke. might want to check those out as well.

iirc , the 6 stick oliva sampler from famoussmokes have a few maduros in there.

Thanks....I'm going to try some of the Indian Tabaks...I think they are similar to the Tabak Especials I like but less expensive....What are the Famous Nic 1000's ? I tried searching in Famous smokes but couldn'd find anything with 1000 associated with it...Thanks......JD

I believe the only sweet cap maduro that has been mentioned is the Baccarat Maduro. There just aren't very many out there as far as I know.
