Cigars International shipping?

I'm planning on buying some items from Cigars International soon, and I was wondering about their shipping.

Do they require a signature upon delivery? I'm wondering because I'm at college, and all mail goes through the university mail system. Delivery requiring signature might present a problem.

Are there other big online retailers who ship that way?

I would think that a "leave on doorstep" instruction might cause you a problem also. You can have your packages dropped at a remote location. Is there anyone close to campus that you know & trust?

I used to have some packages dropped at a local restaurant to keep my wife from knowing when I got a cigar shipment.

I've never been asked for a signature for cigar deliveries. You should be good to go.

mine are usually sent priority and come to my p o box with no trouble and no signature required. they are also usually pretty quick about getting the package to you

Never signed at the carrier's request at home or here. Here we just sign for packages anyway to say we received them since they don't fit in our mailboxes.

In my area, virtually all carriers will leave a package unsigned and unattended on the front porch of a private residence, most don't even knock, they just leave it. They will not leave a package at apartments, dorms, or condos without a signature.

CI is about an hour and some change away from me. I have ordered a few times with.."Please leave on the front porch" and with no signature required.

Just wanted to follow up that I received my order today from CI. I ordered Tuesday evening, and the tracking was spot-on, predicting delivery today. All was well, and I now have my Rocky Patel 12-pack sampler that was the weekly deal. Thanks for the information, guys.

Was that the Flagship Sampler? I picked that one up myself, but it's been too damn cold here, I haven't been able to try them out.
