ID 10 T (pronounced eye-d-10-tea) - used in the computer industry. It's an ID 10 T error. Hint: put the letters together (ID10T)

I believe BBF is a Bolivar Belicosos Finos

Also, I'd add

SBN - Semi Boite Nature, a wooden box with a flat, hinged lid and a clasp

acronyms?

Is it so hard to just type the name of the cigar out? Newbies will never know what the heck we're talking about.

A lot of the need to understand abbreviations originally came from box codes. The rest of it came from non-typists. <G> It never hurts to have a little more cigar knowledge though...

Sure, we could type out the full names every time, but some of them have names that are so long to type, it's easy to lose your idea by the time you type out the name. Everyone abbreviates - some abbr. are very common - for the same reason: less typing.

Anyway, I think people like to be asked "Say, what's a B&M? a BBF? a LCDH?"

I've head that it was a misspelling of "huff" on alt.cigar.smokers that just caught on. I've also heard that someone used it intentionally on that same board, as it was an inside joke between he and friend, and it caught on from there.

Anyway you slice it, the letters don't stand for anything cigar related, it's just a word. But we could make something up. How's

having enjoyable raucous fun
