Zino Platinum Chubby

Morning all, its my 19th Birthday today, and I found a Zino chubby for $9 at a new shop I went to.

Forgive the dumb question, but its the oddest but nicest looking cigar I have. How do I go about cutting and punching this cigar? Does it need to be cut and/or punched?

Regarding the Zino, you should cut it and not punch! Do not cut after the cap or it'll start to unwrap. Maybe if it is the first time you cut one, try cutting only a little and if you see that you prefer more smoke and a better and stronger pull cut a little more! Hope this helps...

Thanks!

How much of the end should be cut off? Enough to make the end look like a normal cigar? Or enough to get it lit? I've never smoked one of these, like I mentioned earlier.

Honestly I've never had a Chubby but have smoked the Avo with that format and I cut them more or less 8mm. It's a question of taste, if they don't have a cap like I mentioned before, else it can unwrap, cut it to about 8mm and if you feel you'd like more smoke trim a little more! Enjoy!

Hey there! Smoked a Domaine bullet Tuesday and that sucker was on. I may need to breakdown and buy a box of those AVO's. Pretty darn tasty for an NC. Can't go wrong with the Zino either.

Re: Zino Platinum Chubby

So just cut a little bit of the cap off and leave the butt alone? Or snip a little bit of the butt off too?

Pro, I'm not, but just trying to enjoy a nice cigar for my birthday. I'm going out later to see if I can find some of the Padron 1926 Anni series.. or should I light up a Opus-X?

Re: Zino Platinum Chubby

i usually just clip off enough to get it to light and enough to get just enough draw, this way by lighting it at a small end you get a constantly chanign smoke..

ive never seen a bullet domain interesting, those zino's are a good smoke but over priced..

Found one, actually he had 6 left; the #9s (5.25x56) for $24.. bought myself one and the Fuente humi-bag for $5 to transport my baby home. Its a good 30min out and back, and I can always use the bag when I purchase cigars around town.
