They allow you to capture the flavor of the cigar better than a normal cigar. They are about 4 inches long but packed with the same amount of tobacco as a churchill or in some cases a presidente. ibble: I have yet to try one either but I have read up on them.

The concept is this. Sam takes what most consider the heart of the leaf (the middle, filet) and uses only that part to make the cigars. This is why they are short. Like what was said before a large gauge to fit in more tobacco. Creating a smoke that's starts off great and ends great. No need to wait for the sweet part of the smoke. I like the cammi and habano a lot. You should pick some up and try them.

Not a bad cigar, but nothing to write home about either. Most are medium bodied, and mild to medium strength. Not sure I buy into the "filet" of the leaf concept. Have never seen whether they cut off both ends of the leaf when rolling them. That said, I bought a box of each wrapper type when they came out, just haven't put much of a dent in them. Using them mostly as handouts when I have people over. Just my 2¢.

I've got a 5er coming from the devil site tomorrow. The concept sure is cool; we'll see how the execution goes...
