Fellow NEWB's looking for variety
Hey, for any of you new folks (like me) out there, I came across this sampler this morning and ordered it up. When it gets in, I'll post some pics and info on it. Not sure what they all are, and maybe some pros here will comment on them for us. Just wanted to pass it along for others that may have no idea what to look for.

What you are going to be looking for is something you are going to like. If you are just starting out smoke as much as you can, and start remembering what you like and don't like about the cigar. Then go look at the review for it and see if your taste buds agree. By then you will start developing tastes that you will enjoy and start reading other reviews before you buy. Then keep experimenting. I have been smoking cigars for about 2 years now and the experimenting never stops. I have smoked everything from a 75 cent cigar to a 50 dollar cigar. There will some disappointments and there will be some real winners. As far as the sampler pack, it doesn't look bad. Go for it. Try them and let others know of your experience. Enjoy.

Puffer Fish with many spikes

I have been smoking for almost 5 years now, and I STILL buy mostly Sampler packs. My humi consists mainly of singles. There are a few that I have bought boxes of, mostly daily smokes and some mainstays, but I like trying new things.

I keep a journal. Samplers and PIF thread and bombs have completely filled my "testerdor". When I take a stick out of there, I review it in my journal. That way I have on paper exactly what I did and did not like about each smoke. I'm on my second volume now.....

I like the Don Kiki Red Label and the White Label the best in that group.

I also like the Don Kiki Red, and that sampler has the highly coveted cigars with military bands on them, so for a 20 spot you can't go wrong.

If you are looking for samples, try JR Cigar, Cigar International (their brown bag sampler was awesome when I got it), or some of the other sites. My fav is the brown bag sampler. I got well over $20 worth of sticks.

I like the J.L. Salazar and the Don Kiki Brown. But to be honest Forrest, keep ordering the samplers to find out what you like. You are doing fine!
