Just curious, what's the punishment for possessing these "so called" ISOMs?
I've never heard of someone getting caught for possession of an ISOM.

i forget which issue, but theres an aficianado mag with a large article about a guy who owned a diner with a walk in full of isom's... he had feds all over his ass.

he ended up pleading it down to 'mis labeling' cigars and had to turn his entire stash (a few thousand cigars iirc) in to be destroyed

that said, guys like you and me with 5-a few hundred... well i dont exactly think were what the government is looking for. I know when my father was working in Iraq he was allowed to legaly bring back 1 cig cartons worth of cubans because that was considered to be 'for personal consumption' and was seemlingly legal.

if you ever think it might actually be a problem, just take off the bands and store them that way. with no bands i dont think anybody will ever be able to actually stick you with any crime.

Actually there is a federal regulation that states that, as a U.S. citizen, it isn't legal for you to purchase and smoke a Cuban cigar even if you do so outside the U.S.

I will send you the link if you want to read it for yourself.
