[SIZE=3]Never had the Grand Envoy but love many of the other Gurkhas - sounds like the ones you got were too "young" and need some more aging. The harshness usually results from incomplete fermentation which leaves amonia in the leaves which can make it harsh. If you can let them sit for a couple months you might find them a lot smoother and enjoyable. One time I got a box of RP Nicaro - tried one new and almost unsmokable - let them sit a year and now they are fantastic. I would say you got some that were released a little too soon - good luck!!!
