5 Vegas Gold or Cu-Avana?
Im either going to buy one of these in the toro size. Gold are 5 dollars more.

Or any better recommendations for something nice and mild and under 50/box?

Go with the 5 Vegas Gold. It is a much more well constructed cigar. I have had uneven burn issues and found inconsistant construction with Cu Avana, but not with the 5 Vegas Gold. You may also want to try Rocky Patel Conneticut and Gurkha Symphony. Both are great tasting mild cigars that can be often had on the Devil Site for cheap.

I'd go with the Gold. For a cheaper mild cigar I like the Flor de Oliva Golds <$40/bundle of 25. Need at least six months to a year to reach their best.

I didnt think Pepin had anything to do with the 5 Vegas Gold, I think its the 5 Vegas-Miami that Pepin had some involvment in, I could be mistaken....

He didn't. He just blended the Miami like you said. The Gold is still a good smoke though.
