In Nature the classification system goes:
Species Genus Family Order Class Phylum Kingdom Domain Life I am not a Biologist so please dont ask me to explain the above. What I am wondering is - Are there Cigars that clearly belong to the same family. Not by Geography or type of similar Tobacco plant/strain used. Although I would imagine that the latter does provide similarities. More along the lines of taste & strength. The most basic element is obviously taste. The question comes from a distinct lack of consistency in my cigars thus far. By no means am I seasoned. In the past 2 weeks I have probably only smoked 5 different brands & less than 10 over my whole life. But so far. Only 1 is standing out as a Major Taste Connection for me. Another one is good but not even close to Partagas which I seem to always have great luck with. I assume that we could lump different brands into groups. It would clearly aid a lot of us if we could classify them all, lump them together and provide some level of expectation before the 1st pull. Obviously it is very subjective and each persons taste experience will differ on 1,001 different factors and specific circumstances. For example - right now I want to know what other brands are similar in taste to Partagas? Thoughts?? Edit: Too bad I cant change the title. It was supposed to say: Cigar StogieLoveItUs PuffMuchoRamus |

Re: Cigar Stogie PuffMuchoRamus
I'm very surprised, not to see any responses.
There must be some level of association among different cigars, no??? There must be a way to group them because of their similarities, no??? Maybe its a No and thats just that. |
