...can you guys help me find one.
I am getting pretty frustrated by the lack of options. Maybe we should just make the ultimate cigar case since it does not seem to exist. A case that holds at least 3 cigars, has a mini humidor inside and is as thin as possible - translation - not an annoying oddly large thing to carry around, bursting out of your pocket and what not. I dont think it exists. We cant conveniently carry humi'd sticks around. Unpleasant. I smoke short stogies by the way if anyone does have some options. Money is of no object, since this thing would literally be with me all the time. It deserves a good investment. |

Re: The Best Humi'd Cigar Case please....
the ECCJ recently had an article about a very nice 3 and 5 fingered leather case with a good humidification piece built in, but i dont have the mag by me and I cant find it online. I'll check tomorrow and try to get you a link. according the ECCJ it was the best option currently out there though.

Re: The Best Humi'd Cigar Case please....
Hey hey,
I am intrigued by this crushproof carbon fiber case by "Griffin". But it doesn't have the humi feature you are looking for. Also, it only comes in a corona or double corona size. Which apparently in this case (pun intended) means a maximum of a 5o RG size for the D.C. I called a few places... Regard; Griffin 3-Cigar Cigar Case - Double Corona Size So in conclusion, I too am interested to see what "Six" comes up with for us to look at. Crushproof matters... ![]()

I bought this one around Christmas time this year. It has a built in humi device. I like it. It works good and telescopes to fit most cigars.

Re: The Best Humi'd Cigar Case please....
[[[This is gonna be a long post - apologies for any readers getting dizzy.]]]
I have been looking pretty intently so let me pass along what I have found. First off, 6Pack, once you mentioned that European Journal, I found their site and started looking around. Their site seems to be out dated as it mentions their last issue in 2006. I emailed them and asked about the case they may have mentioned in their recent issues and 'Katja' from Germany replied back and is now sending me their last 8 issues so I can look for myself. This was done before you found the beautiful case you mentioned. Those Andre Garcia's are very nice. I have been emailing back and forth with the founder, Abhik Roy, to see what the dimensions are and what they can do. The best case that fits the bill is this one. Its the 2-finger woven model. Only $49. Comes with a cedar lining which can act as a great humidification device if its wiped down, once or twice a day. I hadn't thought of it like that. A cedar lined case that is wet will act as a sufficient humi device and not take up extra room. The products dimensions are: Outer Width 2.4 inches Depth 1.5 inches Length 5.4 inches Inner 2 inches wide. 7/8's of an inch deep. 5 inches long. 2 Finger Woven Black I generally smoke Short Cigars and would want to have a case that fits at least 3 of them. 3 shorties would need about 2" of interior width space. 5" high is the max height needed. This is a good option and relatively cheap at $49. I also found these beauties. Savinelli's Cigar cases. Just gorgeous. Item # 7355 on this page is small and just beautiful. But only made out of leather so no humidification option on the inside. MSRP $96. Cigar cases The version that perhaps better fits my specs is the Deluxe Humidified Cigar Case. 3 fingers, humi device inside, max length 6". Very pretty. MSRP around $53. Hard Cases So far I like this last one the best. I am calling local dealers to see who may have it in stock and/or order it. I dont think that a case exists that can fit in a pocket comfortably. Andre Garcia does offer the ability to customize a case. Cedar lining and or a humi device inside is also not an absolute must. I am sure that we can pop in our version of a humi device inside with a small piece of a sponge or something similar. That carbon fiber case looks nice as well. Thanks for sharing All. |
