I typically just leave them on. I have some boxes or duplicate cigars where I will leave one on and take on off and see if they smoke different. Most of they time they don't.

you will get lots of opinions on this, and i dont think it matters....for me i leave them on mostly for protection...im always in there guggling stuff around to find the right smoke ofr the day..

It definitely is a matter of preference. If you are on the move alot, then you may as well leave the cello on. I personally believe that the cigars have to breathe and will age better when allowed to. A definite benefit to this is that the humidors smell DELICIOUS when I open them!!!

Ahh, the never ending, never searched question. Leave them on if you rotate/move your sticks to keep them from getting damaged and take it off if you have a bigger humi where u dont have to search for a stick.

JMHO but to add to the long term aging thing, I think consistency is the key to good aging and I feel like keeping the cello on for a couple of years keeps things a bit more stable for the wrapper in the event you're opening the storage humi now and again.
