is this beetle!!???!

Iv noticed this kind of hole on a few of the cigars I have
I'm hoping its just a wrapper blemish as most of the hole are just on the wrapper and don't go into the rest of the cigar

just in case i looked over all my cigars and moved them to a separate humidor , what should i look for as time passes to find out if i have beetles or not?

That appears to be a beetle hole. To be on the safe side I would drop ALL your gars in the freezer ASAP.

I was think about that but its gonna dry them really bad, how long in the frezer and then how long in the fridge? just trow them in a zip lock?
I would like to avoid doing so if its not defiantly beetle.

Re: is this beetle!!???!

at least two solid days but it wont be so bad as long as you cool them off slow and dont rehydrate too fast. like stick in freezer for two days, fridge for two, dry box for another two then slowly bring back humidity.

if you have 70+ in the humi then that is where your problem may lie.

By Problem what do you mean?
I have 3 25ct humidors on the go
Iv just noticed holes in my flor de oliva corjo's and sancho panza 2xM that i got about 1 month ago, every one else is ok
The constrution on the flor de oliva's is kidda shotty(wrapper tears and what not) so im not toltally sure they are beetle holes

I think he means that he has more than seventy cigars in it, and is asking if he should put them all in the freezer, or just the infected sticks.

Re: is this beetle!!???!

I wish you the best. You got good advise. Put them in the deep freeze. I personally dissect any cigar with beetle holes just to be sure.

Re: is this beetle!!???!

I know, I'm late to the party.

That could be a beetle hole. The truoble is the picture is too small for me to tell for sure. That being said, it won't hurt to freeze your smokes just in case.

Take off and nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
