Where did you find these? Rocky has so many different sticks it's hard to keep track.

Indeed. It seems like every major online store has 3-4 Rocky Patel Exclusives.

I saw a RP here at a B&M in NJ last night.....the band was purplish/blueish! Don't know if this is the same one.

The "Fusion" has a blue double band. Perhaps that is it. I've never heard of the Royal Vintage before though and I have a ton of RP products in my humis.

I just got the cigar.com newsletter last night.. their writeups always make those cigars sound so good! I'm going to wait and see if these things end up on the devil site.

Re: Rocky Patel Purple Band?

Another Cigar.com exclusive which will in tome be at CI and Cbid. Yeah then lets seem how limit they are. I hate knocking on RP because he makes some good cigars, and I hate knocking on those companys because they save many around here a lot of money. But I hate these kind of RP cigars!! And isn't it funny how in that newsletter they talk about how great they are but don't even tell you what kind of tobacco it is made with? What kind of wrapper, filler, and binder does this cigar have? I want to know! I remeber when the RP Fusion came out and all the ads said it was a cross between the 90 and 92 and was better then both, whatever! That cigar doesn't come close to a 90 or 92. I think these cigars are all about marketing and I stay away from smoking them.

Now give me a RP Decade, 90, 92, Sun Grown, OWR, or ITC 10 yr anyday of the week. The rest I just leave alone.

Your right I do need to try those two cigars. I liked the Summer Collection, reminds me of a med body version of a Padilla or Pepin cigar. I have been told the Winter one has a spicy pumkin taste to it, doesn't sound good to me, but I will try it if I see one.

I didnt taste any spicy pumpkin in the winter collection.. maybe you are thinking the autumn collection.. that would make more sense.
