Question Is a $3 the cigar a good price??

Hey every body,

is a $3 the cigar a good price??

$17 for 5 cigars & $29 for 10 Cigars ????

When you comment put in mind that the cigars are not a specific brand, just hand made cigars in Dominican Republic, and i get to choose the wrapper, the cigar's strength and the ?

Ohhh,... Tabacco used is 7 years aged.

I won't spend that on cigars based out the info you have.

Re: Is a $3 the cigar a good price??

Sure is. cheap to be able to play "cigar blender"
Let's try this wrapper w/that binder and some of that filler for _____ and to get this dynamic this filler etc.
Sounds like fun. Try a couple blends and if you like them buy a bunch.
And then send a couple to me for confirmation of your blending knack (or lack thereof)
enjoy

Just on what you have told us, I wouldn't do it. Give us some more info. Who is doing it, do they have other known lines for sale etc...

$3 a pop is $75 a box. There are alot of great cigars you can get for that if you try.

Or, are you trying to create a cigar line and using us for an ad hoc marketing study? The tone of your posts have that flavor...

Nuhhh,.. i just want to know if im getting a good deal or not.

You are right it would be $75 the box, but then again when i buy cigars at a cigar shop, the cheapest is always $5.50 usually a Robusto and i really do not like those cigars, i can list you names of them but that is not the point.

Im usually satisfied with cigars around $8.50 to $12 and the reason why is because they are usually 5 to 9 years aged tabacco, and that makes a lot of difference "taste wise"

So $3 a stick for a cigar 7 years aged is really something.

But then again everybody has different opinion, and i just want to hear them
Thanks

Re: Is a $3 the cigar a good price??

3$ a stick is good price if the cigars are great. if they are merely average, I would save the investment and move on, especially if the smokes in question were new to the market mystery cigars with no street cred. With all the great smokes already vetted out in the market, I see no need to risk dog rocketry. imo.

Are you telling us that you are a regular consumer and not the owner or wannabe owner of a B & M or cigar manufaturer? You are just an average guy asking about the attractiveness of a $3 cigar rolled with 7 year old tobacco. Is that it? What kind of cigar is it? Who rolls it? where is the tobacco grown, what is the name of the store they are sold in? How did you get your username?

Its not a good deal to me because I know nothing about the cigar, and seems you don't either or don't want to tell us.

Actually,... they are giving me the option to do that, but im not good with "Binder types" to customize my own cigars.

I have a friend in Dominican Republic, and he is waiting for me to make up my mind, the only reason im getting them for $3 the stick is because im ordering 1000 stick, that would be a year to two years supply, cause i usually smoke with friends.

Anyways, If you are good at blends then please, share with me.

Thanks

+1 WELL said.

There are TONS of great sticks out there in the $2.50-$3.50 range. Especially if you can buy online and save even more. Your $3 stick online will be FAR higher quality than the $3 smoke from the local B&M. (cigar store)

Re: Is a $3 the cigar a good price??

You probably won't get a $12 cigar taste from a $3 cigar.
There is usually a reason for the price difference,
Try some but don't set your expectations too high.

I have some good $3 cigars I smoke on the golf course but when I get home it's usually something alittle better.
