Re: cigars an golf

I played my first round of the year yesterday. I smoked a Taboo LR Maduro torp. Under very windy conditions, it burned evenly all the way down. Made a really frustrating round a bit more enjoyable.

Re: cigars an golf

I will be playing my first round in a few months this weekend and I will definantly be smoking a cigar and drinking a newcastle. Golf, Cigars, and beer go together like peanut butter and jelly

I usually have a stick around $5 because so many things can happen when you are laying your smoke on the ground, etc. to swing.

I love to have one right after I finished a round. During play I am way too busy concentrating on all my bad shots to enjoy a smoke. When I am done and reflecting on my play (or lack thereof) I can enjoy one.

I created a makeshift cigar holder on the side of my bag. Most bags have velcro at the top to hold the top cover on. Simply take something that is a small L-shape (I bent a small piece of sheet-metal), and use velcro to secure it the side of the bag. Presto, a nice little cigar hold on the side of your bag for when you take your shots.

I got my inspiration from Heater Holder from Heartfelt Industries

Re: cigars an golf

Just had a gold tourney that my local B&M put on. There was many cigars smoked, and lots of beer drank.

I think I golf better with cigars as well.. lol

Re: cigars an golf

I have been smoking the Perdomo Champagne during golf. Not too pricey and holds up great at the golf course. I get the bigger sizes and it lasts for at least 7-8 holes.
