Given the choices above, the easy choice for me would be the Italia. I started with the Brazilia, too, and also really dug the Italia after that. But, tell him to keep an eye out for the Soprano, too.

I would say Italia is the best ROTT. Second, would be the Criollo, but they seem to also benefit from a little nap. Thing is, they don't produce the Criollo in the qualtity or frequency of the other bands, so whatever you get right now is likely to have had a sufficient rest. Great cigar and I prefer it to Italia.

Hey guys, quick question about the VR. Is the wrapper on this thing normaly unusual? To me its looks very wrinkled or something. Definatly different than anything else ive seen up to this point.

Is this normal?

On to a different brand, Since you like the Brazilia (as I do!) here are some future suggestions:
601 Blue label (awesome!), DPG JJ maduro, and for something light on the wallet, the Oliva Serie G maduro is really great.
Cheers!
Rubix... I want my palate back NOW!!!

Great taste indeed sir!

I bought a similar sampler also and LOVED the Brazilia. Second to that is the Black VR. I bought a box of each!

Re: Recomend me a CAO for my friend.

Update,

So right before i went on vacation I smoked the VR. I really enjoyed it too! Burn was awesome and i smoked it right too the nub.

On vacation i lit up the Mx2 and i did not care for it at all. Burn was very uneven and tasted a little harsh.

But when me and my friend fired up the Italias we were both pretty happy. Both burnt very well and the flavors were great. Very happy that i picked these up. We both agreed we'd have to smoke the Italia and Brazilia back to back to decide which one we liked better.

I still have the Black and gold maduro to try out in the near future.
